Ambre Noir
Description
The central note of this amber accord, tonka bean, is paired with woody essences of patchouli, vetiver and cedar. Lavender bestows a virile touch of freshness. The fragrance also contains essential oils of bergamot, cardamom, mandarin orange and elemi (a resin with a spicy, lemony scent that’s reminiscent of frankincense) as well as violet-leaf absolute. Perfumer: Christophe Raynaud.

The sleek rectangular bottle is topped with a wooden cap ‘sourced from sustainably managed forests.’ The name of the fragrance is flaunted in bold lettering on both the bottle and the packaging.

Agréablement surpris par ce parfum. La sobriété du flacon - caractéristique chez Yves Rocher - pourrait laisser à penser que le parfum est banal. Je pense que c'est un des meilleurs que la marque ait pu fabriquer. Il tient longtemps en ne laissant pas une odeur désagréable, celle-ci restant douce et discrète. Sur ma peau, ce sont les feuilles de violette, le patchouli et la fève tonka qui sont mis en exergue, dans un mélange assez oriental sans l'excès olfactif.

Je l'ai testé sur ma peau car je trouve dommage de mettre l'étiquette "pour homme" ou "pour femme" : il faut voir sur sa peau. Et j'ai été agréablement surprise, il évolue bien, il tient longtemps. Par contre, je ne le trouve pas oriental, sur moi ce sont les notes boisées qui ressortent et surtout le cèdre qui le rend presque frais. Je pense le mixer de temps en temps avec un parfum plus vanillé comme Patchouli de Réminiscence ou Bois Vanille de Lutens... à voir !

Yves Rocher thinks "French" in his fragrance creations. I don't think he gets enough credit for that. Hmm...lavender, lemon and violet leaf - balancing patchouli & vetiver; I will want my man to try this. A mysterious blend for men with brown or blue eyes.

Elégant, chaud, un mélange réussi d'ambre et de notes aromatiques. Dans la lignée des Paco Rabanne ou Dolce & Gabanna. Je l'ai offert à mon mari et j'aime beaucoup.
