Description

Prada’s first fragrant creation is a woodsy oriental composed by Max Gavarry and Carlos Benaïm (IFF). In accordance with Miuccia Prada’s wishes, it is a reinterpretation of traditional perfumery using the finest essences, made from flower absolutes (mimosa, rose) and wood (patchouli) over a base of sandalwood, benzoin and labdanum.

History

In 2000, Italian luxury brand Prada – run with a master’s touch by the brilliant designer Miuccia Prada – took its first steps in the world of cosmetics with the launch of a range of ultra-selective skin-care products. Today the brand is launching its first fragrance, after three years of long and painstaking work. Faithful to the brand’s image in fashion and accessories, the scent is a thoughtful blend of design, tradition and innovation. With passion and attention to detail, this first olfactory creation reinterprets old-fashioned hits using the most noble perfumery ingredients. Bottle

The bottle is a rectangle of glass embellished (in certain models) with an old-fashioned spray bulb. The colors used for the bottle and the packaging are powdery rose, plum and champagne. A powerful design and a style that –like Prada’s fashions – blends the modern and the traditional.
