History

This is the second women’s scent from American stylist Marc Jacobs (currently at the head of his own ready-to-wear label, and above all, in charge of Louis Vuitton fashion). This new fragrance’s elegant, classical luxury gets its inspiration from the scent of Perfume, whose discreet, almost confidentially successful launch was in 2002. In this sweeter version, the presence of gardenia is intensified, and enhanced with delicately Oriental accents (spices, woods, musks).

Bottle

Essence catches the light in a bottle with strong lines and a pale yellow hue. The structure echoes that of the Perfume bottle, in a more slender, opaque version.
