Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Lily-of-the-Valley, Styrax, Black Tea, Woodsy Notes
Tonka Bean, Benzoin, Leather
Midnight in Paris is a men’s fragrance inspired by a watch model of the same name from jewelers Van Cleef and Arpels. The ad for Midnight in Paris is a poetical vision of Paris on a starry night. Like the watch face, the bottle is strewn with stars. The unusual and thoroughbred fragrance blends notes of smoky woods, balms and leather in a Fine Fragrance spirit. The Midnight in Paris man is urban and refined. He’s a bold aesthete who’s not afraid to have his “head in the stars” from time to time.
Presented as a woody-oriental leather scent, Midnight in Paris opens with a citrus note enhanced with an aromatic touch of rosemary and green matcha tea. In the heart, an imaginary floral note of black lily-of-the-valley is warmed up with black Lapsang Souchong tea and styrax (a leathery and balsamic note). The drydown pairs balmy-vanillic notes of benzoin with tonka bean. The outcome is at once oriental and leathery. Perfumers: Domitille Bertier and Olivier Polge, IFF.
Eau de Toilette 1.3, 2.5 oz. and 4 oz. Eau de Parfum depending on country.
The rounded, midnight-blue bottle flaunts a starry pattern evocative of the Milky Way. Both the cap and the band that girds the bottle are of silvery metal.
