Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Vanilla, Sandalwood, Woodsy Notes, Musk
Dior has reinterpreted the scent of Hypnotic Poison in an ‘Eau Sensuelle’ version that differs from the original scent without betraying its spirit. Like the mysteries that shroud the ‘eternal feminine,’ Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle metamorphoses into an imaginary orchid, revealing the flower’s velvety grace, as it garbs women like a dress. Sunnier and more floral, Eau Sensuelle Hypnotic Poison captivates and enchants the senses. The ad features actress Monica Bellucci adorned with voluptuous orchids in ‘a hypnotic game of seduction’.
The fragrance opens with a floral-spicy note of ylang-ylang, tempered with rose and orange blossom. The heart unveils a warm and ambry facet, weaving tuberose into an orchid accord. Green notes of leaves and stems stimulate the vanilla, which is still distinctly present in the fragrance. The trail’s woodsy-sandalwood accord is paired with a silky facet of musk. Perfumer: François Demachy.
Eau de Toilette 1.7 and 3.4 oz.
The bottle revises the shape of Hypnotic Poison’s. The deep-red, barely translucent bottle is topped with a cabochon cap that looks purple, red or mauve, depending on light.
