Luminous, sparkling and delicately sweet, neroli (orange-blossom essence) is one of the three flowers that get a cameo in Chloé’s Eaux de Fleurs collection. A note that can be found in many colognes and ‘baby lotions’, neroli is treated as if it were a single-flower scent here… but an imaginary one. ‘I had this unforgettable memory from a trip to Tunisia, when I walked through a grove of bitter-orange trees in bloom’, confides perfumer Aliénor Massenet. ‘And that got me thinking about a vibrant, modern, noble neroli’. Like Eau de Fleur de Lavande, this fairly unisex scent could work for men, too.
.
The fragrance opens with a blend of citrus notes intertwined with rosemary. In the heart, neroli is paired with transparent notes of tea and a few floral touches. The scent soon evolves towards a clean, musky and slightly powdery signature with a ‘nude skin’ facet the perfumer is proud of. Perfumer: Aliénor Massenet, IFF
