Story
Thoroughbred, oriental and warm, Ambre Orient is part of the Armani Privé 1001 Nuits (1,001 Nights) collection. Giorgio Armani’s idea for this line of fragrances with an haute couture spirit is to pay homage to the lushest perfumery ingredients in the Middle East. In the tale of the 1,001 Nights, Scheherazade describes a ‘desert island where amber flows from a fountain and runs down to the sea.’ The designer’s desire was to invent a ‘liquid amber’ accord: a golden nectar with a trail of amber spiced up with thyme and frankincense. Look for it at Armani points of sales and in selected department stores.
Description
Ambre Orient opens with dark, spicy notes of frankincense and thyme. Patchouli and oud wood intertwine with sandalwood in the rich, powerful heart. Amber is sweetened by vanilla notes in the trail. For him or her.
