Escale à Parati
Description
Dior’s Escale à Parati opens with fresh and citrusy notes of bitter orange and Argentinean lemon. Mint and petit-grain add a touch of green to this stopover scent. In the heart, cinnamon, pink pepper, and rosewood intertwine with a more aromatic facet. The trail goes woodsy and ever-so-slightly almondy with tonalities of maté, gaiac wood and tonka bean. Perfumer: François Demachy.
At a glance
A stopover in Brazil
History
Escale à Parati is the fourth fragrance in Dior’s ‘Escale’ (“stopover”) line. After Portofino (Italy), Pondichery (India) and the Marquises Islands, Escale à Parati, the greenest of them, heads for Brazil. Like its predecessors, this eau de toilette has a citrusy theme. Here, it echoes the good mood, endless beaches and parties of sun-drenched Brazil. With this green and citrusy scent, François Demachy invites us to a charming beach resort with a warm and welcoming lifestyle.

I am in the mood for green. I know mint is a fleeting note, but it is something I can crave for now.
