28 La Pausa evokes the vacation home Gabrielle Chanel had built in the south of France in 1920. Jacques Polge’s concept was to create, ‘a perfume as simply luxurious as a summer at La Pausa.’ 28 La Pausa is one of the in-the-know fragrances in Chanel’s Les Exclusifs collection, available exclusively from Chanel boutiques.

Hmmm...South of France in 1920 sounds intriguing. I like the "freshness" aspect centered around the powdery iris. I also like Dove soap that is scented with powdery iris.
