Description
Eros is a ‘fresh, woody and oriental’ fragrance. It opens with mint oil mixed with green apple and lemon. The heart is warmer with tonka bean, ambroxan and geranium. The base notes fuse vanilla, vetiver, oakmoss and Atlas cedar. Perfumer: Aurelien Guichard, Givaudan.

History
Eros is a perfume inspired by Greek mythology, with its gods, its palaces and statues. Versace wanted to ‘reveal and release unrestrained passion’. Donatella Versace explains that the fragrance is for ‘a man who is his own master and who defends his own ideas and goals. He is a hero’.

I inhaled this jewel in a magazine and went out to purchase it. When I took it in at the fragrance counter, it was not the same, which is usual, I still loved it but the initial smell was very masculine as it should be, I am a woman but wanted to purchase it because I loved it. I was with a friend of mine and he put it on. I loved it still on him but it still wasn't the same. After sampling at least 30 other scents, coffee beans in tow, we left the store and as we made it back home, the base notes began to rise. I adored the Versace Eros once again. It was light and sweet. He loved it as well. It needs to simmer. A creeper, I like it.

I just do not really care for this one. I really hate vanilla. The vanilla really lingers.

En plus, son créateur est Aurélien Guichard dont j'apprécie le travail car je porte toujours avec engouement et fidélité Love In Paris.
