History
L’Artisan Parfumeur unveils a unisex scent that invites you to discover Turkey. The fragrance’s name comes from the body of water separating Europe and Asia. Traversée du Bosphore (“Bosphorus Crossing”) is the fruit of perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour’s bewitching strolls through the streets of Istanbul. The fragrance reveals both the apple-inflected notes of the shisha tobacco so beloved of hookah-pipe smokers and the lush scents of the city’s rose and tulip gardens. Arriving at the marketplace inspired the spicy aroma in the heart, which is followed by the scent of leather from the tanner’s street. Traversée du Bosphore is an invitation to escape through your senses.

The signature bottle is adorned with a bright red label, the top shades into a bluish pattern reminiscent of the Bosphorus and a skyline of mosques and minarets.

Tout de suite je me sens transporté dans un autre monde. J'adore cette odeur sucrée de pâtisserie orientale mélangée à la pistache. Il ne ressemble à aucun autre. A ne porter que quand il fait froid pour apprécier encore plus son côté réconfortant.

J'ai dû en attendre trop car vraiment, je n'ai pas trouvé d'ambiance particulière à la Traversée du Bosphore. J'espérais un voyage olfactif qui n'a pas eu lieu.

Fumer pomme tabac dans une pipe parmi les roses et les tulipes juste en bas de la route a partir d'un marche aux epices est le coeur de l'excitation. It is a parfum for traveling and experience seekers.
