Uomo starts with Zegna bergamot (a bergamot that was produced exclusively for Zegna). The heart is built around Violettyne, an exclusive violet/floral molecule. The base is woody thanks to cedarwood and vetiver. Perfumer: Alberto Morillas, Firmenich.

In 2013, Italian designer Ermenegildo Zegna releases Uomo, which means man in Italian. This perfume is dedicated to a man that takes control of his destiny and that succeed at everything he does. According to the brand, the man who wears this scent has a very attractive magnetism.

I love the bold & unexpected opening. This is for the charming man. A man with an interesting character. A man who you can chat with and extend a lunch into a four hour date. I love the violet & I detect lavender (yummy) unless it's the mix of other notes blending with violet. The great wood notes stay front & center, making the violet & lavender so interesting and very, very sexy. A rising star.
