History
Chypre Rouge was inspired by Serge Lutens’s memories of fall in his native Vendée region of western France. Taking oak moss as his starting point, he came up with a complex honey-amber-chypré accord. The result is a chypré that is both éark and sweet, evoking the mysterious undergrowth of an imaginary forest.

I can't stop smelling this. It's a modern & mysterious - kind of dark chypre with light often shining off of the tree leaves. There is a story in this perfume. I feel like I am digging in fresh sweet roots in the forest and there is a gentle flower a few feet away. I feel like a beautiful black swan twirling around with some fresh black jelly beans while the white swan sits in the background peeking out from behind a tree now & then. MESMERIZING. It's Hit in the US. Completely distinctive and sexy. Lasts a good time. More of an evening perfume but it's so transforming I might just rebel & wear it for day time events.

joli accord miellé confit mon flacon a très bien vieilli, le miel s'est confit avec assiduité et le musc le patine à merveille !
