Description

Parfums de Marly's classic fragrance creation is a woody oriental composition using the fine essences, made from Lime, bergamot over a base of oud, vetiver and musk.

History

Named after the majestic Arabian breed of horses, Shagya, the Oud Lime Scent, is an exclusive scent. Coming from the miraculous age of King Louis XV who adored the horse racing of the 18th century.

    Shagya is in the same olfactory group as Baby Blue Jeans. If given the choice to choose one as a gift for a man, the look & prestige of Parfums de Marly would win over Versace. Sometimes prestige & presentation do count. In this case, my pick would be for the most elegant (Shagya) as it would be given as a gift

    For a man to wear what King Louis XV wore (though he really didn't wear this) is most interesting. Especially for men already named Louis. This brand has prestige stamped all over it. The packaging and bottling looks like royalty.
