Description
The fragrance opens with a flight of feminine and radiant flowers: an opulent note of rose, a transparent note of jasmine, sumptuous iris and subtle gillyflower. A nonchalant charm, evoked by the promise of fruity and acidulous notes of sun-drenched pears, sparkling green notes of blackcurrant leaves and mouth-watering notes of blackberry. Tender and simmering sensuousness emanates from the deep vibrations of Mysore sandalwood and a veil of vanilla, sublimated by caressing white musks.
History
Created in 1992, the Lalique by Lalique has become a flagship line at the Maison Lalique. For that reason, every year the brand pays tribute to the line with a new limited edition flacon. The flacon has been redesigned, the fragrance slightly modernized. The top note is lighter with notes of white flowers that are more transparent and more modern. The heart note is livelier, and the end note, sensuous and musky, is more pronounced.

Bottle
The shape of the flacon with its decor of honeysuckle is unchanged, but a golden ring has been added to make it more luxurious. The stopper has been redesigned with new and harmonious proportions. The pearly white case evokes the purity and luxuriousness of the flacon. It is punctuated with embossed golden honeysuckle leaves.

Lalique's new feminine scent (2015) called L'Amour is very different than Lalique (the modernized formula). It is less a bouquet and more like a vase with maybe a gardenia in it. It is "darker," than Lalique and Lalique Amythest.

I bought a bottle of this and I don't know if I got the "modernized fragrance." However, this is a supremely romantic fragrance. Beautiful flowers injected with sandalwood and vanilla. MY favorite thing about this perfume is that it smells the same from the first spray to about an hour later. You will still smell this in the morning if you get the EDP.

Lalique est serieux au sujet de la conception de flacons de collection qui sont le cadeau ultime. Their scents are precious as well.
