Description

Granville opens with the fresh, aromatic notes of lemon, thyme and rosemary. At the heart, the fragrance goes resinous with an alliance of pine absolute and gorse blossoms. The woody-spicy-smoky base reveals a blend of black pepper and sandalwood. Perfumer: François Demachy

At a glance

Nostalgic Granville

History

Lively, green and aromatic, Granville is part of Dior’s Couturier Parfumeur Collection. This series of fragrances, intended for connoisseurs of fine essences, was created by François Demachy, the House of Dior’s perfumer-designer. Each of the creations in the collection was inspired by different moments in the history of the House of Dior, like a tribute to the fashion designer and his most important encounters. Granville is redolent with the scents of Villa Les Rhumbs, the designer’s childhood home in Normandy, where the scents borne by the English Channel intertwined with that of pine trees. François Demachy wanted an airy fragrance that would be reminiscent of the scent Christian Dior breathed in each morning when he opened his windows.

Range

4.2, 8.5 and 15-oz. bottles.

Bottle

The cylindrical Granville bottle affords a glimpse of a yellow juice with green highlights. An elegant white label graces the bottle with the name of the fragrance. The grooved black cap grants a touch of contrast and of elegance.

Une grande nostalgie pour ce parfum étant née dans la même ville que Monsieur Christian Dior, Granville !
