Description

Omnia Indian Garnet opens with notes of mandarin orange and saffron. The heart, which focuses on tuberose, is sweetened with osmanthus. The trail’s woodsy notes intertwine with amber. Perfumer: Alberto Morillas, Firmenich.

History

After Omnia Amethyste, Omnia Green Jade and Omnia Coral, Bulgari presents an Indian Garnet version of Omnia that’s inspired by the magic of India. Garnet, the semi-precious gemstone, comes in a range of colors. The glass of Omnia’s stunning jewelry bottle has been revisited in an orange hue.

Range

Eau de Toilette 0.8, 1.4 and 2.2 oz.; Body Oil 3.4 oz.

More an exercise in allusion than in cultures fusion, Omnia Indian Garnet is a remastering of woody oranges set on a clean and lightly soapy-musky background, an hypothetical love child of Light Blue (D&G) and Azzura by Azzaro. Certainly not an exotic journey to the intense colors and spices markets of the Indian peninsula, but a skin friendly warm-colored (like its name would suggest) composition that is OK for warmer weather and casual occasions.
