Story
An oriental rose on a chypre base, ‘Une rose chyprée’ is the first fragrance of the Tauer Perfumes ‘Mémorables’ line. According to swiss perfumer Andy Tauer, the fragrances of these collection are like a praline : ‘I offer them in small 15 ml flacons and all are bottled and packed by hand. (…) The Mémorables are fragrances that I compose around hard to get, outstanding, traditional materials.’ 15 ml Rose chyprée contains one pound of fresh rose petals, steam distilled in the traditional way. Description
Une Rose Chyprée is neither a classical powdery rose, nor a classical chypre scent. Vanilla, cinnamon and labdanum bring an oriental spicy facet, while patchouli, vetiver and moss (evernia prunastri and evernia furfuracea) unveil a rich yet dry woody facet. For women, and why not also for men.
