Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Cardamom seed, Leather, Black Pepper, Woody Notes, Iris
The House of Penhaligon’s presents Juniper Sling, a fragrance inspired by ‘the most famous of English alcohols, London Dry Gin, and the atmosphere of cocktails in the Roaring Twenties.’ The creation was born of an encounter between master-perfumer Olivier Cresp and the director of the bar of Paris’s Plaza Athénée Hotel, Thierry Hernandez. Together they created an olfactory cocktail based on juniper berry. The result is a ‘woody, aromatic and spicy fragrance with a sparkling trail’ that can be enjoyed equally by men and women.
The opening of Juniper Sling is dazzling and spicy thanks to notes of orange, juniper berry, brandy and cinnamon. The heart of this woody, spicy and musky fragrance reveals a combination of cardamom, leather, woods and pepper. The very ambrox-inflected trail blends vetiver with sweeter notes, like cherry. Perfumer: Olivier Cresp, Firmenich.
Eau de Toilette 1.7 and 3.4 oz.; Travel Spray 0.14 oz.
The house’s signature bottle has been adorned with a silvery label that matches the bow around the neck of the bottle.
