Story
With Shams, Memo has launched a particularly ambry and spicy (it even says ‘Pepper Oud’ on the packaging) unisex scent. Shams, which means ‘sun’ in Arabic, transports you to the heart of Persian mythology, when, ‘the god ‘Mithra climbed into his golden chariot at dawn, and whipped his horses forward to pull the sun across the sky until dusk.’ A spicy visit to the house of the sun, punctuated with waves of oud, tonka bean and rock rose. Description
Ambry, leathery, spicy and smoky, Shams opens with spicy notes of pepper and saffron and a seriously “frankincense” facet. In the heart, you’ll find notes of vetiver and papyrus. The base exhales oud underscored by very-present rock rose, for a warm, ambry effect. The trail also includes tonka bean, birch, tolu balm and styrax.
