Dinner, a fragrance meant to enhance life's happy moments, is the first olfactory creation signed by the young designing couple Anne and Alexis Hardouin-Finez, a.k.a. Bobo. This label, based on the acronym for Paris's "bourgeois bohemians," whose lifestyle is a cross between elegance and taking it easy, is an ode to the links between smell to memory. Dinner is a spicy and mouth-watering juice, signed by Sylvie Jourdet of Créassence. The appetizer is Tahiti lime from Calabria, Italian mandarin orange, sweet Brazilian orange and exotic fruits. The entrée is an accord composed of plum, peach, candied fruit, gingerbread, Guatemalan cardamom, Indian ginger, Ceylanese cinnamon bark and Moroccan cumin seed. Desert is served on a bed of Indonesian patchouli, Somalian incense, vanilla, musk, wood resins, ylang-ylang, violet and jasmine. For her and for him, a little goes a long way (the unusual violet bottle serves it up one drop at a time) towards spicing up your next dinner party.
