When Cormoros ylang-ylang enhances Amarige

Story

The 2010 ylang-ylang harvest from Mohéli Island, in the Comoros, amplifies the scent of Amarige. For the sixth straight year, Givenchy is proposing an olfactory variation on four of their perfumes, composed around a flower that has had an exceptionally good harvest. For 2011, Amarige has been reinterpreted around Cormoran ylang-ylang… The 2010 harvest of this flower was delayed until late May because of long, late rains followed by an exceptional flowering. Look out too for Turkish Damask rose Very Irrésistible, Egyptian neroli Organza, and Chinese Sambac jasmine Ange ou Démon.

Description

Composed around ylang-ylang from the Comoros Islands, this variation on Amarige develops sun-drenched and powdery tonalities, as well, Givenchy explains, as an unusual “flambéed-banana” facet.
