Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Cedar Wood, Sandalwood, Amber, Animalic Notes
Warm, woody and lush (att’n à l’ortho de “rixhe” en vo), Patchouli Imperial is a fragrance in the Christian Dior collection, a line conceived for connoisseurs of fine fragrances. Each scent is inspired by the history and spirit of the House of Dior. The perfumer, François Demachy, explains that he wanted to rework patchouli, which he believes is, ‘the most animalic of botanic notes.’
Patchouli Imperial opens with citrus fruit spiced up with coriander. Composed around patchouli, the heart blends rose with light, fruity-irissy notes reminiscent of carrot seed. Cedar and sandalwood pair up with amber for a slightly animalic effect in the trail. Perfumer: François Demachy.
4.2-, 8.4- and 11.8-oz. bottles.
The cylindrical Patchouli Imperial bottle affords a glimpse of a dark, ambry juice. An elegant white label with the fragrance’s name adorns the bottle. The grooved black cap bestows an elegant touch of contrast.
