Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Simple, chic and fresh, Cologne Royale is part of the ‘Collection Christian Dior’. This series of essences was composed for connoisseurs of fine fragrances by François Demachy, the House of Dior’s perfumer-designer. Each of the creations in the collection was inspired by different moments in the history of the House of Dior, like a tribute to the fashion designer and his most important encounters. Cologne Royale evokes a period that inspired Monsieur Dior in his creations: the 18th century and its stunning royal courts. François Demachy wanted the collection to include a cologne, a classic exercise in perfumery. This one has been worked with straightforward but noble ingredients, like bergamot from Reggio di Calabria, Sicilian lemon and Calabrian neroli.
Cologne Royale opens with the fresh and aromatic notes of bergamot. Very soon, a sharp and sparkling heart of lemon appears, melting into the floral, slightly tart tonalities of neroli. A gently clean facet is unveiled gradually. Mint reinforces the sparkling side of lemon, the fragrance’s key note. Perfumer: François Demachy

The cylindrical Cologne Royale bottle affords a glimpse of a pale yellow juice. An elegant white label graces the bottle with the name of the fragrance. The grooved black cap grants a touch of contrast and of elegance.
