Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Coco Chanel loved Coromandel lacquered screens. Her Parisian apartment on rue Cambon had ones adorned with Chinese patterns that made the place look like ‘a luxurious campground.’ Gabrielle Chanel adored this Asian art form, which, like for an item of couture clothing or a fine fragrance, required ‘the infinite patience of the craftsman and the flawless hand of the master.’ Coromandel is one of the in-the-know fragrances in Chanel’s Les Exclusifs collection, available exclusively from Chanel boutiques.
The fragrance, with its oriental tonality, is, ‘a lush composition of frankincense, benzoin and patchouli.’ Coromandel also reveals a trail of ambry notes. Perfumer: Jacques Polge.
Eau de Toilette 2.5 and 6.8 oz.
A slender bottle with spare lines.
