Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
tangerine, tiger lily, lily-of-the-valley
Pink peonies, pink passiflora, pink Japanese lotus, night-bloom jasmine
musks, Indian sandalwood, light woods
For three years now, the great American designer Calvin Klein has been making marvelously colorful variations on his famous fragrance, all under the sign of love. Luminosity and the color pink have pride of place in this year’s subtly fresh scent. Collectors and romantics be warned: Eternity Love is destined to last but a season.
Whereas Rose Blush (the 2002 version) glowed with rose petals, amber and sweet fruit; Purple Orchid (2003) unveiled the sweet, heady scent of orchids and water lily, this new page in Eternity’s seasonal book offers a sparklingly luminous and romantic variation. Its trail: an interesting bouquet of pink flowers (peonies, passiflora, lotus), an imprint of sandalwood and musks, and a pinch of tangerine.
Eau de Parfum 1.7 ml.
The bottle reinterprets the lines of Eternity’s container (a thick glass rectangle with delicately beveled angles, topped with a shiny-metal, jewel-like spraying mechanism). All this in shades of pink, creating a luxurious and romantic atmosphere, and echoing the fragrance’s bouquet of pink flowers.
