Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
The "Rouge Hermès" color, initially designed for leather goods (in 1934) has become a standard color in all domains. This new perfume from Hermès recaptures the rich symbolism of red (a color associated with poison, passion and seduction) and offers us its fragrance.
Rouge Hermès is a bewitching oriental perfume based on floral and amber accords. A brilliant lesson in seduction, it develops a top note of ylang ylang and rose. Then come the harmony of cedar, sandalwood and Bourbon vanilla. Finally, spices, resins and a pinch of myrrh and labdanum ciste bring fullness and persistence to the perfume's end note.
The Rouge Hermès color gives the box the shine and depth of Chinese lacquer. On the inside of the box is a purse of silky taffeta which catches the light. Thus presented, the tinted glass bottle sealed with gold takes on the precious allure of a ruby.
