Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
The very chic magazine Monocle has paired with Comme des Garçons for the second time to propose the perfume Laurel. While the first fragrance celebrated the scent of hinoki wood from Japon, Laurel is inspired by memories of Batroun, Lebanon. It is a mild scent recalling the smell of handmade laurel soaps sold in Lebanon, and also evokes the perfumed gardens of Byblos. Information: www.monocle.com/shop
Around the aromatic scent of laurel, the fragrance reveals fresh and more intense, spicy notes (pepper, incense). A wake of cedar, patchouli and amber bring more warmth and density to the mix. Perfumer: Antoine Maisondieu, Givaudan.
Eau de Toilette 1.7 oz/50 ml.
The simple bottle is adorned with a round, white label bearing the Monocle logo.
