Immortelle (Helichrysum Augustifolium)

Category Tobacco

Red fruit, syrupy, nut, honey-flavored, tobacco

The plant grows wild or is cultivated in regions neighboring the Mediterranean Sea (ex-Yugoslavia, Corsica, Albania, France).

Essence of helichrysum is obtained through steam distillation of different species of dried flowers. Immortelles are also known as everlasting flowers. Extracts are obtained using volatile solvents and are called immortelle absolutes. Helichrysum is produced in ex Yugoslavia and in France, whereas immortelle extracts are distilled only in France.

Essence of immortelle gives chypre, floral and amber compositions a particular charisma.

The scent of immortelle is beneficial to women's health and social success. It also develops aesthetic sensitivity.
