History
Floral and powdery, Amyris femme is a fragrance that ‘vibrates instantly without ever running out of breath.’ In 2012, the House of Francis Kurkdjian is launching a duo of fragrances composed around iris and amyris, a shrub whose Greek name means ‘intensely scented.’ The resin releases a ‘soft, lush and luminous scent, ever so slightly powdery and grainy.’ For more info: franciskurkdjian.com

I would love to try iris from Provence. To me Amyris smells somewhat similar to sandalwood only fainter. I am not sure how strong Jamaican Amyris is, but I would venture to say that it lends nice wood notes to the overall bouquet. I am not positive, but I am thinking that amyris is almost always a middle note.

Alors tous les parfums de Francis Kurkdjian sont des jus d exception et puissamment enivrant de sensualité. Que de belles essences naturelles avec un prix élevé mais justifié. Vous ne passerez jamais inaperçue et toujours chic et élégant. Un sillage inoubliable! Je porte Absolue pour le matin mais j avais hésité avec celui-ci et je pense que je me l offrirai tout bientôt afin de voguer d une effluve à l autre en toute liberté. :-) Un équilibre irréprochable c est pour moi le plus grand parfumeur du moment ....
