Cerisier Rouge
Description
Cerisier Rouge opens with fresh notes of citrus fruit and cassis. The floral-gourmand heart intertwines cherry blossom and an extract of cherries from France’s Lubéron region. The perfume’s sweeter base is composed of olive wood, white musk and heliotrope. Perfumer: Karine Dubreuil.
History
After the success of Fleurs de Cerisier (Cherry Blossom), L’Occitane presents the ‘eau intense’ Cerisier Rouge (Red Cherry). This creation proposes a ‘play of colors and balance between spring flowers and the summer’s upcoming fruit.’ You’ll recognize the collection’s signature bottle, adorned with a branch of a cherry tree engraved into the glass. The bottle shades beautifully from paler to more intense red.
Range
Eau Intense 1.7 oz.; Perfume Touch (a purse-sized roll-on gel) ½ oz.; Shower Gel 8.5 oz.; Body Lotion 8.5 oz.; Hand Cream 1 oz.

On se demande un peu ce que vient faire le bois d'olivier dans cette corbeille de fruits

Un fruité floral qui pourrait me plaire pourvu que le côté fruité n'écrase pas la facette florale !

This cherry fruity floral deserves a second look. It sounds as if there is a powdery aspect provided by heliotrope. Olive wood seems contemporary. L'Occitane maybe trying to keep cherry light - the opposite of Petite Robe By Guerlain. You should try both. There's also Delices by Cartier (too "frozen" for me).
