The trail features the fragrance’s second key player: patchouli. ‘With a woodsy rose and rosewood, the fragrance is a soft as velvet,’ the house explains.

Mon essai: une bataille de rose et de patchouli est un vaillant. I want a new combination of rose and patchouli. Who else but Guerlain can serve that up for us?

Un emballage superbe, un flacon un peu américain qui me fait penser à ceux de la marque Estée Lauder. Idylle Duet n'est pas ce que l'on attend généralement de chez Guerlain. Et tant mieux pour cette surprise. Il est doux et il sent bon ; il n'est pas absolument mémorable, mais je le trouve raffiné et j'en suis ravie. Il n'est pas trop fort et ne tient que moyennement : c'est parfait pour moi qui n'ai pas envie de sentir fort la grand-mère à l'odeur surannée. L'ensemble est vendu à un prix assez élevé mais normal pour un parfum d'une telle marque.
