Description

At the opening, galbanum brings a zest of sparkling greenness, echoing the color of the juice. It’s paired with refreshing notes of citrus and neroli. A sprinkling of aromatic notes – including sage and juniper berries – announce the more floral heart, where lily-of-the-valley, jasmine and rose intertwine. At the close, musky, woodsy notes of ambroxan grant a clean and sensual cottony touch to the whole. Perfumer: Louise Turner, Givaudan

At a glance

An imaginary single flower…

History

Green, sweet, and ever so-slightly untamed, nasturtium (capucine) is one of the three flowers that get a cameo in Chloé’s Eaux de Fleurs collection. A tangle of leaf and petal notes, nasturtium is treated as if it were a single-flower scent here… but an imaginary one. ‘I love the simplicity of this flower that grows in my garden,’ the perfumer Louise Turner confides. ‘It looks like it has stepped right out of the pages of an antique botany book or herbarium’.

Range

Eau de Toilette 3.4 oz.
