Vodka on the rocks
Description
Vodka on the rocks opens with cool spices and aldehydes in order to create an ‘ice effect’. The heart includes rhubarb, rose and lily-of-the-valley. In the dry-down, oakmoss, ambroxan and sandalwood bring an iodized effect, along with leathery notes. Perfumer: Sidonie Lancesseur, Robertet.
History
Vodka on the rocks pays tribute to Russia, a country Kilian Hennessy feels deeply connected with. This fragrance aims to reproduce the smell of vodka cooled by ice. The rectangular bottle is topped with a black cap. The fragrance is available at Kilian’s Moscow store and on bykilian.com

Le nom surprend vraiment. Mais à la lecture de la pyramide ce parfum n'est peut-être pas aussi fort qu'il n'y parait, surtout avec les aldéhydes en tête...

It reminds me of Abercombie Fierce. It’s very aromatic, it’s green, with a mossy note. There’s a light vodka / alcohol note, too. But for me, it is not really a niche fragrance. It’s very commercial.

I noticed "Moscow" on the bottle's label before I read the description. The smell of vodka can be interpreted by smelling it on someone's breath. Ice or frost is usually achieved with a minty note, but Kilian is giving it a try with aldehydes. I love the name of the parfum, especially since it is Kilian. The bottle represents a black flask. Interesting. I don't want to get pulled over by police for smelling like vodka. That is so serious here.
