Oolang Infini
Description
Composed around oolong tea, the fragrance opens with citrus-aromatic tonalities of bergamot and neroli. The heart reveals tea and jasmine, with a note of blonde leather. The trail blends tobacco blossom, gaiac wood and vetiver. Perfumer: Jérome Epinette, Robertet.

History
A tea scent with woody-aromatic accents, Oolang Infini is one of the first five fragrances from the new Atelier Cologne brand. Created by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, two creators who are wild about the cologne family, a perfumery classic. The house spotlights cologne absolute, i.e. highly concentrated formulas (12 to 20%, depending on the fragrance) ‘with long, distinct trails.’ Each scent, ‘captures the emotion of a precious moment…’ Oolang Infini evokes a writer who gets their inspiration back over a strong drink in front of a fireplace.

La fraîcheur du thé est réchauffée par un accord cuir tabac. Oolang Infini peut être porté toute l'année et doit sans doute sublimer l'une ou l'autre note selon la saison. Je remarque que cette création date des débuts d'Atelier Cologne, période plus créative et moins marketing qu'actuellement (dans l'ensemble).

Tea of any kind is one of my most favorite notes in perfume. This is a must try for me. I am a fan of Atelier Cologne.

Je la trouve discrète mais néanmoins dotée d'une bonne tenue sur moi. En hiver elle est ultra-réconfortante, avec son fond qui évoque immanquablement le bois qui brûle dans la cheminée. Je la rapprocherai un peu de Encre Noire pour Lui de Lalique, un de mes musts !
