Description

The fragrance opens with a bouquet of citrus (lemon, bergamot and more) and evolves in the heart towards notes of petit-grain and lemon blossom. Patchouli paired with a moss accord grants longevity to the dry-down of this extra-tart fresh eau. Perfumer: Francis Kurkdjian.

At a glance

The tart yellow scent of the grape harvest

History

Dazzlingly vibrant, Zeste de Vigne is part of Caudalie’s Eaux Fraîches range, a collection inspired by the Smith Haut Lafitte vineyard. This 6%-concentrate eau transcribes the scent of wooden cases in an orangery, paired with waves of citrus trees… A ‘tart effervescence’ blending, ‘the bite of lemon, the sweetness of orange, the bitterness of Seville oranges and the vivacity of mandarin orange.’

Range

Eau Fraîche 1.7 oz.

Bottle

The cylindrical bottle shades from pale to dark yellow. There is a bunch of grapes carved on the back of the bottle.

This has a different personality due to the oakmoss & patchouli. My mind ignores the petitgrain. The lemon blossom has depth & seriousness besides freshness in this scent. You want the lemon blossom to last forever. It's too short-lived and that makes me sad.
