Description

Jasmine is the heart and soul of Love and Tears. It is adorned here with orange blossom, bergamot and ylang-ylang, for a green, floral and solar tonality. Waves of woody and animalistic scents bloom in the trail along with cypress and rockrose.

Jasmine tears…

History

The ninth fragrance in the ‘L’œuvre noire’ collection, Love and Tears is being presented as the last chapter on the theme of love ‘By Kilian’. This time, the house’s founder, Kilian Hennessy, has come up with an essence for men and women focused on jasmine. ‘Only the jasmine flower, with its endless spectrum of facets (…) was able to express the profusion of emotions that I wanted to communicate with this scent: the beginning of love marked with the excitement, the fear of the unknown, and ultimately, the surrender,’ Kilian explains about the scent. In fact, the Love and Tears bottle bears a subtitle: Surrender. Info and points of sale: www.bykilian.com

Killian is very overpriced. If you like this and can't afford it, buy the very similar and not too pricey: Glamorous By Ralph Lauren, Violette Menthe by Jean-Charles Brossseau or Tocca's fragrances (all in the same olfactory group).
