Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Founded in the United States in 1886, Avon has grown to become the world’s leading brand of direct-sale cosmetics. Available worldwide, in more than 140 countries, the brand offers every woman access to the best of beauty.
Avon’s success and originality reside particularly in their close contact with consumers, thanks to their nearly five million representatives around the world. By using the best of both nature and technology, Avon can offer wide ranges of cosmetics, skin care, fine fragrance, make-up and accessories. Among Avon’s most popular products are the high-tech, anti-aging ANEW line; and the prestige fragrance collection Today, Tomorrow, Always.
Avon is a major player in the fragrance field. The brand proposes a great number of unique creations dedicated to every woman’s personality, as well as fragrances for men. Among its more recent olfactory creations, Today, Tomorrow, Always is a new experience in the world of perfume. Each of these essences translates a different aspect of love.
Today is a sweet and vibrant harmony of white flowers (butterfly bush, hibiscus petals and silk musk) that celebrates the woman in the mirror-the one you look at everyday, but seldom truly see .
Tomorrow is a whispering oriental (golden raspberry, African violet and sunset amber) as luminous as the magical moments shared with a loved one.
Always is a radiant fruity-floral that pays homage to eternal love. It delivers notes of everlasting flower, kiwi and bamboo.
Each of these essences has its own signature bottle, but like a connecting thread, the elegantly curved crystalline cabochon cap is the same for the three scents. Today won the 2005 Best Direct-Sell Perfume prize at the Fragrance Foundation’s Fifi Awards in the United States.
In addition to this elegant triptych, Avon’s latest perfume creation for women is called Extraordinary. The fragrance invites women to ‘refuse to be ordinary’ and to live each day like a special moment. In its elegant setting of engraved glass and golden metal, Extraordinary reveals a floral-oriental trail with the beautiful signature of chocolate orchid.
For Avon, improving women’s lives isn’t just confined to beauty. Created in 1955, the Avon Foundation supports many important causes, including the prevention of breast cancer and domestic violence, the latter in partnership with actress Salma Hayek. More recently, the brand helped raise funds to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. But above all, as the company’s many representatives say, Avon grants millions of women around the world a chance to live their dreams and achieve their professional goals.
