Christian Lacroix in trouble

The future of the House of Christian Lacroix is uncertain at best. The annual report for the couture house, which the Falic Group bought from LVMH in 2005, isn’t good. The house has filed for the French equivalent of bankruptcy, with a 6-month observation period. The fragrance section’s future is in doubt as well. Despite the fact that the fragrances Christian Lacroix designed for Avon (Rouge, Noir, Absynthe), have been well-received, it is not yet clear whether the license-holder, the Inter Parfums Group, will choose to keep them.
