Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Though she has been faithful to the same fragrance for years, Mathilda May also loves smells that bring her back to the ballet studios of her childhood.
We caught her between two movie shoots. The first one - a Franco-Italian co-production, takes place in Hungary. Entitled Le Courage d'un homme juste, it was directed by Alberto Negrin, an Italian filmmaker. The second one, Fabio Montale, is set in Marseilles. Produced by TF1, it will be broadcast in three episodes and features Mathilda with famous French actor Alain Delon in top form.
For years I've been wearing a perfume that can't be found any more: Innocence by Chloé. But my first perfume was a classic - Anaïs Anaïs by Cacharel.
My dad doesn't have any particular favorite scent. He wears what people give him, so he changes often. My mom, on the other hand, is attached to Must by Cartier.
Definitely. The smell of dance studios, and movie or photo sets. They have a unique odor made up of a blend of sweat, resin and floor wax.
Is there any smell that you can't stand?
A lot of odors bother me. The one that I find most uncomfortable is the "collective smell", coming from a crowd of people gathered in a room or in public transportation. I have noticed that, generally speaking, there are more offensive odors than pleasant ones.
The smell of a baby skin.
No, I'm a one-perfume woman! When they discontinued Innocence by Chloé, I bought every bottle I could get my hands on. And I'm getting upset as my supply dwindles.
Definitely not peppery fragrances! On the other hand I love the "clean" smell emanating from talcum powder and soaps. And of course, I like Pour un Homme by Caron. It's my husband's perfume.
