Baldessarini is the luxury line from Hugo Boss. It stands for a passion for the finer things in life. Baldessarini represents a subtle, refined brand of luxury and a true love of beauty. The Baldessarini fragrance is composed of metallic, sensual accords, blended into a fresh, spicy whole. Charles Schumann, the flourishing proprietor of the famed Munich bar that the Italian photographer Mauro Taliani posed him in front of for the advertising campaign, is known for his flair. He has been the face of the Baldessarini collection for four years now.

Story

The Baldessarini man knows who he is and what he wants. A man of passion, and of character, he holds himself apart, and has a positive perception of his own power. The Baldessarini man is as sovereign as he is ageless.

Description

A fragrance for real men, Baldessarini fires the imagination, stirring up images of travel to exotic lands. It’s a rich scent, at once earthy and euphoric. The opening accords of bitter orange, tangerine and fresh mint give the fragrance a hint of steely resolve. The spicy heart is composed of patchouli flower, cumin seeds and clove buds. The warm, elegant bottom is made from sandalwood, fir balsam, patchouli leaves, tobacco and notes of amber and musk.

Bottle

The Baldessarini bottle’s lines were inspired by an antique Eau de Cologne bottle Werner Baldessarini found while traveling in Singapore. It is aimed at men who know how to appreciate “objets of true beauty”. The refillable “prestige” bottle has been carved out of zamac, a top-of-the-line aluminum alloy, and is set on a translucent acrylic stand.
