In 2011, Elizabeth Arden enlarges its Green Tea collection. The brand proposes Green Tea Camellia, a fragrance ‘inspired by Ikebana, the ancient art of Japanese flower arrangement’. Indeed, the scent reveals a bunch of peony, magnolia, jasmine and… camellia, the main ingredient of the perfume. Elizabeth Arden explains that this flower is ‘revered for its use in the traditional tea ceremony’ with ‘its intriguing floral scent’. What’s more, ‘camellia sinensis’ is the botanical name of tea.
The composition opens with citrus and green tea. The floral heart blends camellia, peony, magnolia, jasmine and mandarin blossom. The musky dry-down reveals birch, moss and sweet spices.
