Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Floral, green, sweet.
Lily-of-the-valley is a flower that grows in the shape of little bells running along a slender stem on the forest floor in temperate zones. Its incredible popularity and brief flowering season have also led it to be grown in greenhouses.
No essential oil can be extracted from lily-of-the-valley’s little bell-shaped flowers. It is, however, possible to reproduce their scent by combining other essences in the lab.
The lily-of-the-valley note is used frequently in perfumery, for both fine fragrances and home fragrances.
In France, lily-of-the-valley is considered a good-luck charm. It is made into small bouquets, or nosegays, which are traditionally given for luck on May Day.
