Two new men are becoming faces of fragrances: Fendi wil... Go
Characteristic, milky, balsamic, vanilla
Created by perfumers, the milk note reproduces the characteristic scent of warm milk. A sweet, warm sensation, used sparingly for a caressing effect.
Perfumers compose the fragrance of milk from other essences. Particuarly lactones, a family of perfume molecules.
The milk note is used sparingly in fine fragrance, to which it brings a tasty, velvety sensation. Creator Issey Miyaké was one of the precursors, with his perfume Le Feu d’Issey. The milk note is often used in tandem with oriental notes, and occasionally with plant notes (soy milk, milk tea, and others).
The milk sensation is very present in bath and shower ranges, where it is often paired with plants (oat and palm milk. In that case, the focus is more on the milky texture and mosturizing effect than on the scent per se.
