For summer, Roger & Gallet have created a travel kit that will thrill rose lovers. Presented in a zippered crystal pouch trimmed in taupe-hued suede, the kit contains a 2.5-oz. shower cream, a 1.7-oz moisturizing body cream… and the scented soft water, in a light, refillable 1-oz. spray. The collection was inspired by the smells wafting from a Bengali rose garden. Suggested retail price: €18.80

Glamorous and sultry, Cuban-American actress Eva Mendes is the face of Calvin Klein’s Secret Obsession. A new fragrance whose slogan is ‘Between love and madness lies obsession’. Just over 20 years ago, the designer broke new ground with his torrid oriental perfume christened Obsession. Composed by Calice Becker / Givaudan, Secret Obsession is an intoxicating floral oriental (exotic plum, spicy orchid, burnt amber) for a modern woman, whose secret obsessions and flaunted desires radiate ‘enough sexual tension to make her dangerous’. Born in Miami in 1974, Eva Mendes is the hottest thing in Hollywood lately. She has appeared recently in ‘Live!’ and ‘We Own the Night,’ and has several more films in the works. Paco Rabanne bets 1 Million on his new fragrance for men…

Bling is in, and so is gold. Couturier Paco Rabanne had the ingenious idea of including both of those trends in a new men’s scent that comes in the shape of… a gold bar. 1 Million, as it’s called, is a fragrance blending sensuality and freshness. The scent of blond leather, rose and cinnamon is refreshed with mint and fruity citrus notes. The ad features model Matt Gordon, as seen by photographer Nathaniel Goldberg and directed by Paul Gore. The soundtrack is the work of the Chemical Brothers. Launching in late August.
