A lemony opening (lemon verbena from Grasse, lemon from Italy); an aromatic (peppermint and anise-like basil leaves), green (violet leaves and galbanum) and lightly floral heart. The freshness in the trail comes from damp woody notes (tree moss, juniper wood), hay, sweet vernal grass and light, airy marine notes.

An essence built around the 2005 narcissus harvest from Lozère. L’Artisan Parfumeur chiseled extraordinary accords from the narcissus absolute. The result is as fresh as green grass and wildflowers, with nuances of black-currant blossom and cut hay. A powdery evocation of cassie and iris, plus the honeyed sweetness of blonde tobacco, moss and leather.

Three different mandarin orange essences were used for this fragrance. Surprisingly, except for the zest, essential oil of mandarin orange can evoke lightly fruity, green, flowery and woodsy facets. The alliance of three varieties of mandarins is subtly rounded out with pinches of ginger and frangipani flower. At the close, moist blond wood in association with red mandarin orange recreates the illusion of a mandarin-orange grove… For men and women to share.

Fou d'Absinthe

Absinthe, slightly bitter and green, blends in the opening with angelica and a frosted-spirits note. In the heart, the aromatic sensation is sustained by star anise and ‘Chinese Four Spice Essence’. Pine needles and fir resin deliver an almost mosse, dry-woody sweetness to the closing, along with rockrose and the woody note of patchouli. A bold, free-thinking expression of the brand’s creativity.
