Seven Veils opens with a pairing of carrot seed (a slightly irisy note) and hot pepper, as well as an almost liquory note. The alliance of spicy and floral tonalities in the heart grants the fragrance a carnation impression. The intensely vanilla, lightly powdery close is softened with sandalwood.

The actual flower that probably comes closest to this imaginary tulip, as seen by Byredo, is lily-of-the-valley: a light floral with green, slightly cosmetic-like facets.
