The brand’s first scent for men is called Force, and the metallic bottle is like a chrome barbell. The juice, signed Bruno Jovanovic, is fairly classic, blending aromatic, citrus, aquatic and woody notes. The fragrance’s slogan is Live Stronger. Women haven’t been forgotten though, as Biotherm has also scheduled a new scented eau for later this year: Eau de Paradis.
Tue, 09 Mar 2010 10:56:29 +0100 http://www.osmoz.com/News-Trends/News/New-products/Biotherm-makes-a-show-of-Force Penhaligon’s extends their fragrant Anthology
After the successful re-release of Gardenia, Extract of Limes, Eau de Verveine and Night Scented Stock, this spring, British niche brand Penhaligon’s will be re-releasing 2 more fragrances in their Anthology line. The citrusy formula for the 1927 classic ‘Eau de Cologne’ is unchanged (orange, lemon, bergamot, neroli and rosemary), while the 1976 scent ‘Orange Blossom,’ has been re-orchestrated by perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. On the menu: neroli, violet, bergamot, citron, cardamom, pink pepper, orange, Egyptian jasmine, tuberose, rose, peach blossom, orchid, sandalwood, Virginia cedar, white musk and vanilla. The brand has announced that two more re-releases will be coming soon to complete the Anthology collection, which will be comprised of a total of 12 fragrances in 2011. Eau de Cologne and Orange Blossom are presented as unisex scents in 3.4-oz. bottles for 110 euros. After the sparkling lightness of Eau Fraîche’s green-hued juice, make way for the fragility of Eau Tendre. The juice is pale pink and offers an overall impression of being fruitier and more transparent. New notes of grapefruit and quince give the fragrance a sweet, tart and lightly green touch. The base is less woodsy but more musky. Launch: April 2010. The house’s sultriest scent gets a new, watercolor look with splashes of fuchsia, purple and gold on the bottle. The juice is more luminous, sparkling and sunny, too, thanks to grapefruit, sambac jasmine, pink pepper and a lightly ambry trail. Launching March 1. According to Gucci’s website, Gucci by Gucci Sport pour Homme combines notes of lemon, grapefruit, fig and cardamom on a drydown of patchouli. The juice is light green. This new fragrance leaves a woody chypre wake with aromatic leather and balm accents. A scent much more masculine, therefore, than the precedent perfume, Blanche. Aside from the new fragrance, for 2010 the brand will present its different creations in a line of body lotions and shower gels. The name of the perfume comes from the designer’s fall/winter collection, a collection with a libertine spirit, inspired by lingerie and ladies of the evening. Classique X is announced as a permanent product. Gaultier is also planning a big launch for the second half of 2010, but this time for men. To mark 15 years of his masculine Le Mâle, Gaultier will launch a new fragrance with a name that is still secret. But we already know its code name: Le Mâle Forever.
Thu, 07 Jan 2010 11:00:35 +0100 http://www.osmoz.com/News-Trends/News/New-products/Gaultier-rated-X-and-soon-Y Chloé invites 3 women perfumers to imagine 3 floral eaux
In February, Chloé will be launching a new collection of fresh floral fragrances: ‘Eaux de Fleurs’. The understated bottles with their heavy, metallic cube caps reveal three floral notes that are semi-realistic, semi-imaginary. Aliénor Massenet dreamt up a clear, clean neroli. Dominitille Bertier created a deep-purple, slightly woody lavender. And Louise Turner signed a green, delicate yet untamed nasturtium (capucine). Although they are presented as being by and for women, these 3 chic and poetical eaux could very well appeal to men, too. Eau de toilette 3.4 oz., 105 euros.
Tue, 01 Dec 2009 17:29:35 +0100 http://www.osmoz.com/News-Trends/News/New-products/Chloe-invites-3-women-perfumers-to-imagine-3-floral-eaux
