Quite unlike Black XS for Her, the Excès version is a floriental with an overdose of cashmere wood. The fragrance opens with notes of neroli (orange blossom) and pepper, before evolving towards a white-floral bouquet of jasmine and night queen. The more oriental trail is woody and ambry.
