SAME PLACES , MULTIPLE INSPIRATIONS
Different travel itineraries are possible in the same place. London, Paris, Fiji or Turkey: different brands’ way of seeing the same places are confronted here.

London - Paul Smith
While both exist in both men’s and women’s versions, the two brands’ visions of London are quite distinct: the former evokes the city’s luxury and chic, while the second was inspired by its unbridled creativity. At Burberry, London reveals a woodsy-jasmine scent for women, and spicy-woody-amber notes for men. For Paul Smith, London has vintage waves of patchouli (garbed in vanilla and mock orange) for women, and vetiver (garbed in Cognac and aromatic herbs) for men. |

Island Fiji - Michael Kors
Two voyages of discovery to the archipelago of Fiji. Michael Kors’s Island Fiji is a figurative vision of the island: colorful, luxurious and fragrant with exotic flowers and tropical waters. Guy Laroche’s Fidji is a more imaginative voyage. The island is a metaphor for the woman, and the trail is a more classic blend of spicy carnation, rose and sandalwood.

Fumerie Turque - Serge Lutens
With Cuir Ottoman (Ottoman Leather), Parfum d’Empire invites us to discover the splendors of the Ottoman Empire. The tanned leather segue into an Oriental trail softened with a touch of iris. Serge Lutens’s Fumerie Turque (Turkish Smoking Den), evokes the woody-amber warmth of wisps of rare tobacco reserved for the imperial court. For, as they explain, ‘in the 17 th century, in Turkey, smoking was a privilege’.
